Lifelines on metal posts along the crown of a historic wall: a continuous attachment route, set on the existing surface among the pines of Rome.
Context
The work covers routes at height on a historic wall and a glazed roof: surfaces walked for inspection and maintenance, where a continuous attachment point is needed.
Challenges
The crown is uneven, with steps and sections at different levels. The line has to follow these changes without breaking the attachment route.
Objectives
Give people working at height a continuous connection along the whole route, with a tidy system that reads clearly on the wall surface.
Result
Aligned posts, tensioned cables and energy absorbers at the line ends, documented along the crown and across the steps.
